Life of Riley

February 19, 2014

2013-07-027

We have guesstimated that Riley was born in February. My husband discovered her early in the month of March. She has brought us a tremendous amount of joy and free entertainment and after two years, she is definitely a very important member of our family.

Cat Quotes

There are two means of refuge from the miseries of life: music and cats.

Albert Schweitzer

Dogs come when they are called; cats take a message and get back to you later.

Mary Bly

Cats are smarter than dogs. You can’t get eight cats to pull a sled through the snow.

Jeff Valdez

Cats are rather delicate creatures and they are subject to a good many ailments, but I never heard of one that suffered from insomnia.

Joseph Wood Kruch

No matter how much cats fight, there always seems to be plenty of kittens.

Abraham Lincoln

Very fun considerations. I like the one about the dog sled…even though I’m a dog person (allergic to cats)

Cats aren’t indifferent. They just like to hold their cards close to their furry little vests. Wonderful photos.

Hi Julie! Thank you so much! We have four cats. Riley is the youngest and then two that are sisters and they are going on five years and our oldest is about 12 years old. We moved almost two months ago from California to Oregon. It was quite an experience with them in crates. We are gardening enthusiasts and look forward to getting our backyard in shape to plant and grow veggies. Thank you Julie for stopping by to visit. I look forward to spending some time at your blog.
